FAQ
This is my first photo session, what should I know?
Most people don’t know where to look or what to do with their hands. That’s normal. I’ve got you. Wear something you feel good in. Not perfect, just right for you. Outfits don’t have to match, but it helps when they live in the same universe. What matters is how the photos feel, not how styled they are.
Also, bring your ideas! I love when clients send inspo, songs, Pinterest boards, or weird little thoughts that hit at midnight.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I ask for $50.00 to hold your session date. It sets things in motion and keeps your time reserved. It also covers the planning that starts before we meet. Once it’s in, we’re set.

Can you recommend any good locations?

Yes. Once you book, I’ll ask a few things to get a sense of what feels like you. Grasses, trees, open sky, water, overgrown corners of town. If you need it, I keep a list of spots with a little character. We’ll land on one that matches the feeling you want in your photos.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
If the weather turns, we adjust. I never mind rescheduling, and the booking retainer makes that easy. But I’m also down for some rain, some wind, some Oregon mood. We can pick a new date or talk through ways to make it work. Either way, we’ll figure it out together.
